Gender Matters hosts independent counselling services at the Centre in Wolverhampton.
Counsellors are registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), therefore bound by an ethical framework in their therapeutic practice; they also have regular “supervision” – please note this does not mean that there will be someone in the room supervising your private sessions. “Supervision” is a term used for the professional support given to the counsellor by an independent (also qualified) person. Our counsellors hold professional indemnity insurance.
