I am a trustee of the charity Gender Matters and
facilitator of Sanctuary Wolverhampton along with Ruth. Sanctuary is an outreach support group run by Gender Matters.
I am an MTF transexual, 49yrs old and have been living full time since September 2007. I have been taking hormones for approx. 10 months I have always known that I was female.
I have a diploma in Transgendered Studies.
Sanctuary (Wolverhampton) opens it's doors every Thursday evening.
Our Sanctuary is a secure place for people who are Trangendered and their partners/significant others. Sanctuary provides the ability to meet socially with like minded people in a secure, confidential environment. To have their questions answered together with the offer of further support, if it is required.

Sanctuary (Wolverhampton) is located in a quiet, discreet location in Wolverhampton with free parking. This event runs every Thursday evening.
There is a main meeting room with toilets available and a separate room for people who need to change. Tea/Coffee making facilities are available. You can of course bring your own soft drinks.
The premises are not licensed and are non-smoking.
At Sanctuary Wolverhampton we arrange for members who wish, to go on to a close “gender friendly” pub afterwards to finish the evening.

evening, Practical advice, etc.
